I have been in Istanbul for the past few days simply absorbing the vibes. This city is huge..and it would help if I knew Turkish, but I don't so thats that. Today I met with a few local artists and just had a few cups of tea while drawing and painting. The cultural exchange was awsome! There is some really good art flowing through here. I went for a huge adventure traversing this city and I finally came upon the cool part of town, recommended by the artist I was hanging out with. Yes I like this city. I drew him a little piece as a thank you. Yesterday I met with an art dealer and we talked also about the local art scene, and the importance of art as a whole. He was a really smart guy. When I walked in to his gallery the first day he was bumping tool! Yes. Tomorrow I leave this city bound for Dresden, Germany.
